Supplier Showcase Overview:
On Monday February 23, 2009 we will introduce a new feature in PantherBuy: the Supplier Showcase.
The Supplier Showcase will be prominently featured across the top of the home page in PantherBuy. Every two weeks, we will feature five suppliers in the Showcase. Each supplier in the showcase will show an icon which allows users to access a hosted catalog or punchout.
The Supplier Showcase is intended to highlight suppliers you may not be familiar with in PantherBuy, diversity suppliers, new suppliers added to the system, and to make it easy for you to search for products. When you click on the logo of a hosted catalog supplier, you are presented with a convenient search field:
This search field will allow you to easily search the hosted catalog of the supplier, or to do a search by categories specific to the supplier:
The Supplier Showcase is also visible from the Product Search tab:
We hope that the Supplier Showcase will make purchasing from our featured hosted catalog suppliers easier!
After a supplier has been removed from the Supplier Showcase you can still search for their products in the hosted catalog search area or by accessing their punchout in PantherBuy.
